Automatic Fire Suppression for Electrical and Energy Storage Equipment

The Self-Activating Perfluorohexanone Fire Suppression Patch is designed for early-stage fire protection in electrical cabinets, battery energy storage systems, UPS equipment, sockets and other enclosed fire-risk areas.

The extinguishing agent is encapsulated in heat-sensitive microcapsules integrated into a flexible patch. When the surrounding temperature reaches the activation threshold, the microcapsules rupture automatically and release the extinguishing agent to suppress the fire at an early stage.

The patch requires no external power supply or control system. It can be installed using adhesive backing or magnetic mounting, allowing fast and flexible installation inside compact electrical spaces.

Its small size and automatic thermal response make it suitable for areas where conventional fire suppression equipment is difficult to install.

Installation Methods

Adhesive Mounting

Clean and dry the installation surface, remove the protective film from the adhesive backing, position the patch close to the potential ignition point, and press firmly to secure it.

Magnetic Mounting

Attach the magnetic fire suppression patch directly to a suitable metal surface inside the protected enclosure.

Installation Notes

  • Install the patch near potential ignition points inside the protected space.
  • Keep the protected enclosure as closed as possible for better fire suppression performance.
  • Avoid direct exposure to water, oil, strong impact or mechanical damage.
  • Ensure the patch is firmly fixed before use.
