Surge Protection for 1000 V DC Solar PV Systems
The SE-PV-1000 Type 2 DC Photovoltaic Surge Protection Device is designed to protect high-voltage solar PV systems and connected DC equipment from transient overvoltage caused by lightning-induced surges, switching events and other electrical disturbances.
The device uses a three-module configuration for DC+ / PE / DC− protection and is suitable for photovoltaic installations operating at up to 1000 V DC.
With a nominal discharge current of 10 kA and a maximum discharge current of 20 kA, the SE-PV-1000 provides reliable surge protection for PV combiner boxes, DC distribution panels, inverter-side protection and other solar DC applications.
The plug-in modular design allows convenient inspection and replacement, while the visual status indicators make it easy to check the operating condition of each surge protection module.
Designed for standard DIN rail installation, the SE-PV-1000 can be integrated into residential, commercial and industrial photovoltaic systems requiring 1000 V DC surge protection.
