Surge Protection for Solar PV DC Systems

The SE-PV-600 Type 2 DC Photovoltaic Surge Protection Device is designed to protect solar PV systems and connected DC equipment from transient overvoltage caused by lightning surges, switching operations and other electrical disturbances.

The device is suitable for DC+ and DC− lines in photovoltaic installations and can be installed in PV combiner boxes, DC distribution boards, inverter-side protection panels and other solar DC applications.

With a maximum DC operating voltage of 600 V DC, a nominal discharge current of 10 kA and a maximum discharge current of 20 kA, the SE-PV-600 provides reliable surge protection for low-voltage photovoltaic DC systems.

Its plug-in modular design simplifies inspection and replacement, while the visual status indicator allows users to check the operating condition of the protection module quickly.

Designed for standard DIN rail mounting, the SE-PV-600 can be integrated easily into solar PV electrical enclosures and distribution equipment.
